    Anduril CEO Brian Schimpf grew up in New York and has always been interested in technology. Since he was a college junior, Schimpf has been preparing for a career in government.

    Brian graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 2007.

    Schimpf was part of the Cornell Hybrid Electric Vehicle student team at Cornell University, DARPA Grand, and Urban Challenges Teams.

    DARPA Grand Challenge was a contest funded by the most prominent research group at the Department of Defense. After the contest, Schimpf had a desire to create technologies that solve hard problems.

    7. Early Career and Begining of Brian’s Career

    Schimpf started his career while he was studying at his university. Brian started working as a Cornell DARPA Urban Challenge Team developer in 2007.

    Once completing his education at Cornell, he started to work at Palantir Technologies as a Forward Deployed Engineer for six years straight.

    Before Anduril, Schimpf worked in many tech positions at Peter Thiel‘s startup, Palantir Technologies, and rose through the engineering ranks.

    5. Starting his journey in Anduril Industries

    After working in many organizations across intelligence, defense, and law enforcement sectors, Brian found his path and started Anduril Industries with Palmer Luckey in 2017. However, Brian signed in on as Anduril’s fifth co-founder.
