Respected leaker Revegnus cited an item from South Korean tech website ETnews, stating, “Samsung Electronics is developing two Galaxy Z Fold 6 models, a new Z Fold with a pen input function and a model without pen input.” This tactic increases demand by lowering the price burden of foldable cell phones.

Samsung is manufacturing this new price-efficiency model in reply to competition from Chinese manufacturers such as Huawei, Xiaomi, and OnePlus in the cosmos of folding phones.

There’s always the possibility that Samsung will release a more inexpensive Fold and a premium edition in addition to the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, if Samsung focuses on making more affordable foldable phones, a Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra may never be released.
