Respected leaker Revegnus cited an item from South Korean tech website ETnews, stating, “Samsung Electronics is developing two Galaxy Z Fold 6 models, a new Z Fold with a pen input function and a model without pen input.” This tactic increases demand by lowering the price burden of foldable cell phones.

Samsung is developing this new, affordable model in response to competition from Chinese manufacturers such as Huawei, Xiaomi, and OnePlus in the folding phone market.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra rumors were based on suspected prototype leaked photographs and videos, as well as detailed renders indicating an ultra-premium foldable with the angular appearance and quality build of the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

There’s always the possibility that Samsung will release a more inexpensive Fold and a premium edition in addition to the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, if Samsung focuses on making more affordable foldable phones, a Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra may never be released.
