While completing her undergraduate degree, Petcavich attended the University of Hong Kong and the National University of Singapore for an exchange program in business administration.

Later, Meowtel founder Sonya Petcavich attended the University of Oxford from 2016 to 2017 for a Master of Business Administration. She also volunteered for several months as a National Co-lead at AGDC in 2017.

How It All Started?

Sonya’s journey started as the founder of Meowtel when her cat Lily died in 2015. She traveled a lot for her job in sales and wasn’t home much as her senior cat might have needed. She felt guilty and realized she could have done more as a cat mom.
