Zoox Is Looking To Replace Human Drivers

Zoox, like its competitors, hopes to one day replace human drivers with fully self-driving vehicles. Renowned technologists are claiming that it is safer and more reliable.

Amazon spent more than $1 billion for Zoox in 2020, stoking speculation that the vehicles could eventually be utilized as delivery vans, saving the business money on driver costs. Zoox has made no announcements regarding their plans beyond robotaxis.
