As recently Canva acquires Generative AI Startup Leonardo AI, which was the missing puzzle piece that Canva needed to take its AI features to the next level.

Leonardo AI has grown greatly due to its advanced image and video generation technology. With over 19 million users, it is one of the best image-creation platforms.

Although the company was founded only two years ago, its growth is very noticeable. Eventually, Canva acquires Generative AI Startup Leonardo AI, but the amount Canva spent on Leanardo AI has not been made public.

Last December, Leonardo AI generated $47 million in funding, which shows the potential and growth the company has.

The co-founder was also excited about the company’s future and stated, “Leonardo will continue to run independently of Canva with a focus on rapid innovation, research, and development, now backed by Canvas resources.”
