CFPB has banned BloomTech from offering any financial product services, collecting payments, and marketing.

• Allow students to withdraw without penalty
• Pay over $164,000 in penalties

This action has definitely raised awareness, and this is a warning to all the other service providers who use misformation, misrepresenting, and fake marketing.

The order will also need Bloom Tech to take steps to remediate financial harm and misleading students. Efforts like this from CFPB and complaints are the death of companies like this.
