LegalFly Secures 15M Euros To Expand Across Europe

An AI-based workspace that mechanizes legal services known as LegalFly secures 15M euros in funding with a dream to make it big in the Legal AI market.

Just eight months prior, the company had raised 2M Euros in seed funding, of which it still has 80% of the cash.

LegalFly’s CEO, Ruben Miessen, and his founding team previously worked at Tinder. Although Ruben thinks his previous tenure was more tempting, his company’s current fund collection seems much more tempting. Isn’t it?

Belgian startup LegalFly, a company targeting the less tapped AI-based automated legal service industry, recently bagged 15M euros Series A.

This round was led by Notion Capital, with Redalpine and Fortino Capital also participating, ultimately generating massive funding for this AI-based company founded by Ruben Miessen, Kasper Verbeeck, Dennis Montégnies, and Gregory Vekemans.

What Significant Leap Would The Funding Help In?

LegalFly intends to automate all of the workflows in the legal profession gradually, and the funds collected would do wonders to help achieve that!

Likewise, the Belgian company’s vision suggests the capability of releasing legal AI agents with the power to act and negotiate independently for most repetitive issues.

According to the company’s plans, LegalFly targets banks and insurance companies as its primary customers.

It also has a ChatGPT-like Q&A tool trained on internal company data and more comprehensive legal regulations.

In November of 2023, LegalFly bagged 2M Euros in seed funding.

This initial round was led by Redalpine, which participated in the 15M funding, along with Mehdi Ghissassi, Director of Product at Google DeepMind.
