Elon Musk‘s SpaceX has yet again achieved another milestone as the company successfully made an Unmodified Phones Video Call Through Starlink SpaceX Cellular Satellite.
Let’s dive right into the news without any delay!
Unmodified Phones Video Call Through Starlink
SpaceX’s Starlink posted a video on X, formerly Twitter, demonstrating the first video call completed through Starlink Direct to Cell satellites from unmodified mobile phones on Tuesday!

This successful event occurred at the company’s office in Redmond, Washington, as one employee connected their smartphone to SpaceX’s cellular Starlink satellites.
Starlink satellites ‘ communication was a success despite the massive distance between the planet and satellite location.
How Did The Call Look Like?
The call is rendered via video footage over the cellular Starlink network. The video call quality wasn’t the clearest, and the clip was short in length.

The Increase In Number Of Satellites Before The Call
The demo was initiated only after the number of cellular Starlink satellites was upgraded from 6 to 38 in May, as SpaceX Senior Director Ben Longmire exclaimed.
The unmodified phones video call through Starlink probably occurs at speeds as high as 17 Mbps to an unmodified phone, according to an earlier test conducted in March.
Conclusions And The Results
Conclusions derived from this test, particularly from this video call, reveal that SpaceX’s Starlink Direct-To-Cell service excels in various areas.
Not just regular cellular connections in remote areas but also a potential replacement for traditional cellular network status in areas with underdeveloped infrastructure is expected.
This wonderful news on unmodified phones video call through Starlink is indeed a milestone success for SpaceX and Starlink.
