Those four teenage boys would later become the founders of the world’s top cloud security company. Their relationship marked the start of a lifelong partnership that saw the start of their first cloud app security company, Adallom, in 2012.

Microsoft later acquired Adallom, and the four friends worked together to create something new in the cloud security domain. Finally, in January 2020, Assaf, along with his friends, founded Wiz with offices in New York, Washington, Denver, and Austin. Likewise, they have a longer RD center in Tel Aviv.

The CEO inaugurated his career in 2004, offering expertise as a Software Engineer & Project Manager at IDF prior to co-founding Adallom. He remained CEO of the company until 2015.

Assaf also was an employee of Microsoft Israel from 2015 to 2018. At present, he is involved in Mensch Capital Partners, Cyberstarts, and, most of all, Wiz.

Ami Luttwak: The Second Co-founder

The tech expert is an Israeli national who graduated from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2004 with a Bachelor’s in Physics, Math, and Computer Science. He completed his Master’s from the same institution.

Ami has worked with the Israel Intelligence Corps and Phonaris before co-founding Adallom with Rappaport. Interestingly, he was also employed at the Microsoft office in Israel as the CTO of R&D.

Since January 2020, Luttwak has been the Chief Technology Officer of Wiz.  Like his partner, Ami’s net worth is also reported to be around $1 billion.

Yinon Costica – VP of Product

Yinon’s work experiences include being the principal program manager and partner director of product management at Microsoft and the vice president of products at Adallom.

Since 2020, the Israeli tech expert has been the vice president of Products at Wiz. Like other Wiz co-founders, Yinon’s name has also recently been included in the world billionaire’s list with a net worth of $1 billion.
