Bumble founder Whitney Herd says that the woman-focused dating app Bumble app embraces AI. Herd said while discussing the future of the app at Bloomberg Tech in San Franciso.

“You could, in the near future, be talking to your AI dating concierge, and you could share your insecurities, and then it could give you productive tips for communicating with other people,” says Herd.

However, the idea of using AI to help flirting isn’t something new. There are tools like Love Genius and YourMove.AI to help with flirting by crafting daters with messages and bios. In contrast, apps like Voidpet Garden are for our mental health and emotions.

Focus Towards More Healthy And Equitable Relationships

According to a recent survey on the AI platform Pollfish, men aged 18 to 34 use ChatGPT to get relationship advice in the United States. Similarly, 14% of the women are also found doing the same.

The main goal of Bumble, which is to embrace AI in the app, is also to create a healthy and equitable dating experience. Whitney said,

“There is a world where your dating concierge could go and date for you with other dating concierges.”

Bumble is already testing some of the AI features, though the robotic dating feature sounds far out.

Future Of Dating: One AI Talking To Another

Whitney Herd believes that the future of dating will involve personal AI “dating concierge” will talk to hundreds of other AIs to find a match for you.

Herd, who has already stepped down as Bumble CEO but remains in the company involved, says, “You could, shortly, be talking to your AI dating concierge.”

Almost half of Americans, or almost 46% of Americans, have negative experiences while dating online, so the founder of Bumble Whitney Herd embracing AI for dating might be somewhat helpful.
