In recent years, BYD has brought many new features that make its cars futuristic. With solid performance, aesthetics, and features, everyone is excited to see what U8 can do on the road.

How Long BYD Yangwang U8 SUV Can Drive On Water?

The “Emergency Float Mode” of BYD Yangwang isn’t like what you might have expected. People are assuming this car can cruise across lakes and rivers. The answer is both yes and no.

The river mode is technically a safety feature, and it will be easier to drive on flooded roads and shallow water crossings since it is an off-road vehicle.

A lot of people might be wondering how that works. BYD Yangwang U8 SUV can drive on water due to its water mode, which will seal the cabin and raise the suspension.

Although it has made hype saying it can drive on water, Yangwang will only last about 30 mins, and you can only drive at 3km/h.

This feature is imposing since this is one of the first SUVs to have this safety feature. The U8 will be perfect for emergencies and off-road.

However, The YangWang is not designed for extended use in water or saltwater since its parts can be damaged by water.
