  • Small and mid-business-focused Huntress cybersecurity secured $150 million in Series D funding. Thus, the Maryland-based company reached a valuation of $1.52 billion.

    Cybersecurity Unicorn Huntress is the latest entry into the billionaire startup club. Just like the Israeli Wiz cloud company, Huntress has reached a significant milestone.

  • Cybersecurity Unicorn Huntress Reaches $1.5 Billion Valuation

    Three former NSA cyber operators, Chris Bisnett, John Ferrell, and Kyle Hanslovan, founded Huntress in 2015. The computer and network security company aims to fight against rising cyberattacks.

    The company held its Series D funding round on June 18, led by two new investors, Meritech Capital and Kleiner Perkins. The company’s existing backer, Sapphire Ventures, was also one of the investors.

    The company has raised $150 million in capital to accelerate its expansion into new product areas to promote growth for partners and better safeguard their SMB customers.

    This funding catapulted the company’s valuation to more than $1.5 billion.




  • The round is also a bigger amount of money than the previous total that had been raised by the company since its start in 2015, bringing Huntress to $268 million raised so far.

    The Company’s Revenue Growth And Words Of CEO

    Since its inauguration, Cybersecurity Unicorn Huntress has shown great potential. Since the past two years, the company has been meeting a huge 70% year-over-year revenue growth. Likewise, Huntress is moving towards $100 million in annual recurring revenue.
