Fisker recalled more than 8,000 cars in North America and Europe earlier this year due to software problems and safety issues.

Fisker revenue increased to $200.1 million in Q4, while its gross margin was negative 35%. Fisker’s filing for bankruptcy joins other struggling EV startups, such as Volta Trucks and Lordstown Motors.
