    Reason to develop Fiton application

FitOn CEO Lindsay Cook was engaged in her work and at home with her kid, so she could not attend her preferred gym classes.

Looking for workout videos on YouTube, she found herself lost in the site, and all she could find were either old videos or bored with basic exercises. She did not get a better choice than that.

Lindsay Cook has created Fiton for those people who cannot afford expensive gym equipment or trainers.

  • Everyone owns a smartphone these days, so she ensured that she decided to produce high-quality, easy-to-follow fitness material with a social touch to keep the audience engaged.

FitOn CEO Lindsay Cook left Fitbit company to travel with her children and enjoy her life. This 6-month break gave her the time to develop the idea of Fiton.

How did she develop the application?

Like fitness coaches Nathan Forster and Daniel Sobhani, Lindsay wanted to design something for people who were unable to get fit due to time constraints. Eventually, she started the AI fitness app Fiton with her husband in January 2019.

Within 18 months of its launch, Fiton has risen to be the most popular fitness application in the market, and the application was free of charge. In 2020, the Fiton app was installed more times than market leaders such as Peloton and Nike.

  • Lindsay wanted a co-founder to help her with her idea, and after searching, she realized the perfect person was with her: her husband, Russell Cook.” He founded AllTrails, the number one outdoor app, and has been developing digital subscription products for 20 years.

Lindsay Cook and her husband created the fitness app by identifying consumers. From the idea phase, design phase, and first release of version 1, it only took a few months to arrive in the App Store. Similar applications in the app store are JuggernautFitbod, and Badbot.
