As reported by multiple reputed sources, Google‘s parent company planned to acquire the billion-dollar cybersecurity company. Thus, let’s learn about the purchase and the money.

Google’s plan to acquire Wiz did not Succeed

According to the NY Times, Wiz’s chief executive said it was tough to decline such a “humbling offer.” The privately held company will now pursue an IPO.

CEO Assaf Rappaport said that Wiz would head to its previously stated goal of generating $1 billion in annual revenue ahead of an initial public offering.

It would have been Google’s biggest Acquisition

Multiple sources said the takeover was expected to be Google’s biggest acquisition. Similarly, a large part of the payment was said to be made in cash, and the deal was almost finalized.
