Audi Q6 E Tron Oled Interactive Rear Lights: Active Digital Light Signature

The Q6 e-tron marks the new chapter in electromobility at Audi, with lightning technology being an important part of Audi.

The world’s first brand with the four rings, the Audi Q6 e tron oled interactive rear lights look alive at first glance. That’s what the customer should imagine: the active light signature.

Audi Q6 E-Tron has some competitors in the EV market, such as BYD U8, Tesla Cybertruck, Rivian S2, BMW, and Genesis GV70. However, the automobile brand with the four rings is definitely stepping up its game.

The new Audi Q6 looks more vibrant, active, and intelligent than ever before. The light segments are interactive so that the signature’s overall image does not vary in luminous intensity.

Six OLED panels made with 360 segments can generate a new image using a specially developed algorithm every 10 milliseconds.

How Many Digital Light Signatures are available for the Audi Q6 e-tron?

Audi first used the OLED technology in 2016 in the Audi TT RS taillights. But this time, the q6 e-tron has made digital signature light available via the MMI and the My Audi app.

There are a total of eight digital signature lights available for the Matrix LED headlights and the digital OLED rear lights 2.0.  Drivers have the complete freedom to personalize the selection of signature lights.

Via the myAudi App:

  • Activate their personal light signatures
  • Experience dynamic lighting scenarios
  • Live demonstration of the sign glare suppression
  • Object masking feature

The flexibility of purchasing the features permanently or for a specific period lets the customer design their Q6 e-tron with up to eight digital light signatures.
